About the song
I made this in the pandemic. One of the things I remember about that time is that for a lot of people it seemed to reveal a terror of life without purpose - one of the things the pandemic revealed as lots of people were locked down with their work that suddenly lacked context and meaning. So this is about dreaming of finding activity that’s more purposeful. Like joining a lifeboat crew…
